Constitutional Democratic Party

The Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan aims to build a genuine grass-roots democracy in the country. A politics which is rooted in the real voices of real people:

  • The voices of people facing many difficulties
  • The voices of people taking on many different challenges
  • The voices of people disillusioned with current politics and
  • 
The voices of people who want to somehow change politics

They aspire to connect with a diverse range of people living in the Japanese society and to chart a new vision for the future.

 

 


About Us

The Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD) was inaugurated in Bangkok in 1993, with the support of then Thai Prime Minister Chuan Leekpai and South Korea’s Kim Dae-Jung. CALD, which offers a unique platform for dialogue and cooperation, is the only regional alliance of liberal and democratic political parties in Asia.
