CALD-FNF sponsor Political Communication Strat-plan Workshop

(Manila, Philippines/ April 8, 2003) The Council of Asian Liberals & Democrats (CALD), in cooperation with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, is sponsoring the workshop on Political Communication for Liberal & Democratic Parties in Asia: Developing a Communication Strategy for CALD from April 8 to 12, 2003 at the Dusit Hotel in Makati City, Philippines.

During this workshop, the CALD secretariat and the member parties will undertake a critical review of existing communication practices and present best practices in the field of offline and online communication. These practices will then be evaluated as to their relevance in the context of CALD and its member parties. A strategic planning will commence with recommendations to be presented to the CALD leadership for consideration.

Opened by H.E. Alongkorn Ponlaboot, MP, CALD Secretary General and Dr. Ronald Meinardus of the FNF Manila Office, the workshop features as speakers journalist Maritess Vitug and experts from the Campaigns Advocacy and PR Inc.
