CALD Members asserts confidence in current CALD leadership

(April 26, 2006/ Siem Reap) In a unanimous resolution, the member parties of the Council of Asian Liberals & Democrats asserted its confidence in the current leadership of CALD with Philippine Senate President Franklin Drilon as Chairman and Dr. Neric Acosta, MP, as Secretary General.

CALD noted the current controversy within the Liberal Party of the Philippines, the chair party of CALD.  The resolution was made during the CALD Executive Committee meeting at the Sokha Hotel in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
