 Yangon- National League for Democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi has cited the strengthening of national reconciliation as reason to amend the 2008 Constitution.

Suu Kyi was speaking on May 17 at the public rally jointly organized by the NLD and the 88 Generation Peace and Open Society at Bo SeinHman Sports Ground in Bahan Township, Yangon Region.
