DPP Asia Democracy Forum and CALD Executive Visit

 

Taiwan’s Vice President Chen Chien-Jen met with the delegates from the Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats to push for the promotion and protection of democracy in the region. Taiwan, considered to be one of Asia’s most stable democracies, is strengthening its ties with Southeast Asia through the so-called New Southbound Policy.
