CALD Program Officer appointed to ASEAN Secretariat

(Jakarta, Indonesia/ April 5, 2004) Raul Cordenillo, outgoing Program Officer of the Council of Asian Liberals & Democrats, assumes today his new position as Senior Officer – Investments at the Bureau of Economic Integration of the Secretariat of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations in Jakarta.

Mr. Cordenillo, an economist, was CALD Program Officer from September 2002 to March 2004. Members of the Executive Committee including M.R. Sukhumbhand Paribatra, MP, Senator S. Vijayaratnam, Dr. Rajiva Wijesinha and Saumura Tioulong, MP, extended their gratitude to Mr. Cordenillo for his dedicated work in the organization.
