M.R. Sukhumbhand visits Manila

(May 11, 2005/ Manila)  M.R. (Prince) Sukhumbhand Paribatra, Member of Parliament from the Kingdom of Thailand (Democrat Party) and immediate past Chairman of the Council of Asian Liberals & Democrats (CALD) attended today a dinner in his honor hosted by Mr. John Joseph Coronel, CALD Executive Director.

M.R. Sukhumbhand was in Manila as one of the speakers of the 4th ASEAN People’s Assembly organized by the ASEAN Institute of Strategic and International Studies.

Among those who attended the dinner were Education Undersecretary Jose Luis Martin Gascon; Liberal Party Director General Concepcion Asis; and, Mr. Lambert Ramirez, Executive Director of the National Institute for Policy Studies (NIPS).

M.R. Sukhumbhand will be hosting a dinner for the CALD Executive Committee during its meeting in Bangkok on June 17. The dinner will be held at the historic Suan Pakkad Palace.
